That's the problem there is no format option on the phone

Try the format option under card menu. Must be formatted by the phone first.

To get the camera to play from 2gb to 8gb.at 2gb it will play about 40 mins.

its because you have the camera set to store the video in the internal memory not the SD card you have to change the settings so it will save into the SD card instead of the internal memory

I have a SanDisk microSD memory for my BB Storm 9530 but my computer won't recognize it. what can i do? where do i get the drivers?

Find a laptop with a slot for SDHC memory-cards, and insert the card. It should be "recognized" _without_ the need for any device-drivers.

I have a blackberry curve w/ a 2gb micro sd memory card.but i cant store or save anything to the memory card.how do i do it?

Check it first if your memory card is recognized by your unit, if not try it to insert in different phone just to check it if it is working or not.

if not then more likely it is corrupted

My computer won't recognize my phones memory card!

Well I found that these older card readers will not read the 4g sdhc format. In your case you found a 4 gig card that can be read (your sisters) Bring your's back to the store and get an exchange for the brand your sister has, let them know this. The knowledge for them is good. They most alway accomadate just to keep the customer happy.

Micro SD memory card not recognized by computer

THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE ALL FILES!!!
(even password)
Take the memorycard out of the phone and,
put it in a computer.Use filesystem FAT-32
to reformat your memorycard.
Now the card will work again!
No password, No files will be left after a
complete reformat

EnV2 does not recognize MP3 files on micro SD card

This was tricky, but I was able to get MP3 files recognized on my daugter's phone.

First, the MicroSD card needs to be formatted by the phone. The phone requres a special directory structure to be created. You may be able to do this manually, but I did it by letting the phone initialize the card. To do this, insert the MicroSD card. Make sure you push it all the way in.

Go to Menu 9 Settings and Tools. Then menu 9 Memory. Then menu 3 Card Memory. The phone should recognize the card and initialize it by creating the special directories for My Music, My Videos, My Sounds, etc.

Then put the card into your PC and copy your MP3 files to the My Music directory on the card. I could not get the phone to recognize sub folders, so make sure you copy everything directly to the My Music directory and not the one under it.

Now the card is ready, you have to tell the phone to use your card memory and not its internal memory for these items. Go to Menu 9 Settings and Tools. Then menu 9 Memory. Then menu 1 Save Options. Pick Pictures, Video, and Sounds and set the phone to use Card memory for each.

Now you can import the music into the music player on the phone. Go to menu 5 Media Center. Menu 1 Music & tones. Menu 4 My Music. The music player should then Import yhour music into the player and it should now be playable.

(I think these accurately reflect what I did)

You can also go to 9 Settings, 9 Memory, 3 Card Memory, 4 My Music to view your music.
