Your printer head may be booked. Follow the instruction given bellow:
1. Open printer cover and put off cartige from cartige chamber.
2. Take a plastic seringe with full of ink and fit it on head's stick. Then push ink carefully.

C84 stylus - put new cartridges in and it doesn't print full text or all color

Did you use Original Epson Cartridge? I have learned from experience, that Epson does not like generic ink. You must use Epson Genuine Cartridges. Hopefully, you haven't screwed up the printer, like I did. I did try cleaning the heads and doing everything possible. Use 2 cartridges of ech set, for cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. ......But Nothing.
Had to go out and purchase a new printer.;

Printer Epson DX6000 ... all new cartridges .... will not print any text. I can print the head clean test page as well as the head alignment page ... but no text

You said all new cartridges.. But are they Epson Genuine Cartridges???? I had the same problem when I replaced with new, but generic cartridges.
After finally, going thru 2 sets of each, removed them and put in Genuine., and finally, everthing started printing fine. Weird , but true.
I suggested my answer problem below.

Problem for Epson Stylus C84 InkJet Printer
Re: C84 I'm using generic ink, but the red
By mclamemo on Nov 12, 2009 re: C84 I'm using generic ink, but the red doesn't work at all. I've done all the printer cleaning programs and swabbed inside the printer with alcohol, and re-inserted the cartridge multiple times. it still doesn't print at all.

Also now even the black every few lines prints the top half of the line or the bottom half of the line, or its smeared, etc...

Help!

Epson C84. Havent used it in a few months and now the test pattern will not print at all. Ran head cleaning 3x with pattern still not printing at all. someone told me about putting warm water somewhere...

Try putting, new ink cartridges. They may have dried up. This way, if you put in new cartridges, that would confirm, they are not good.

Good Luck :0)
ps
Make sure they are Genuine Epson Cartridges.

My epson stylus c84 printer does not print

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The printer won't operate properly if it's tilted. Place it on a stable and flat surface. Please do not leave your printer turned on when not in use to avoid print heads being clogged. In the instant case the ink cartridges can also leak into the printer. If the print heads are clogged then run the head cleaning and alignment utility. The print head nozzles may also need cleaning.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Had not used it for a while.. put in new ink..even after several cleanings..it wont even print out a thing

Head cleaning is mechanical proccess, printing is electrical proccess. If nothing at all ink out/spray from head in printing proccess, problem with electricity. Damage board or short circuit at head cable. Check board first, may be some component "burn".Better to take printer to epson service center. Damage board can be replaced, but it must to check the cable head and small circuit at head first.

Epson c84 printer not printing after installing new ink cartidges

Hi, Linda
You may buy cartriges of different producers.
Depending on producer on them can be or be not special yellow detachable labels.
These are an yellow labels must be removed from them. Then put cartridges back. And try to clean head 4-5 times. And check nozzle test.
Good luck.
