Question about Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1" LCD Monitor
A Dell 2005FPW we have here has gone on the fritz off-warranty, so I'm dusting off my toolkit to see if I can't figure out what's wrong (pretty sure it's either the inverter or power unit).
Problem: cursory examination and online searches have provided no real clear diagrams of how to get into the guts of the display.
If you got power with no screen or both... Then it's your backlight inverter are busted. Need to replaced or repaired. To repaired look for a capacitors with a bulged on top of each caps. Not sure...just replaced all the caps... Good lucks!
