Object catching behind the drum.

There is no quck fix for this problem.
You can try removing the large hose on bottom of drum, and try to retrieve it that way.
If you cannot locate and retrieve it, then hopefully it will find it's way into the pump filter, where it will not cause a problem.
Hope this helps you .

1.5 inch black line on incoming faxes

Sounds like a paper clip (or similar) has fallen into the machine and is next to the drum.
Remove the drum unit and see if anything is in the machine or on the drum unit.
Replace the drum if it is close to the end of its life.

Gets hot but doesn't spin

Is there any motor noise? Any clue if the mortor is running but the drum is not turning? Your drum belt is broke or has fallen off. Either way you have to replace your drum belt.

My Ariston A1636S Is making a very loud crackling or rattling noise when it spins. Almost like something is loose inside it. I've checked and nothing has fallen into the drum. Can someone help?

Remove the dive belt, and spin the drum by hand, if it feels rough or is noisy, then the main drum bearings have failed, if no noise, then look elsewere.

Drum spring has fallen off

If you look at the opposite side to the one where the spring has come off, it should help you to locate where the spring goes.
One end of the spring hooks into the side of the drum, and the other end onto the top of the cabinet.
Plz rate my solution.
