SOURCE: Soap remains in soap cup after complete cycle is run
I had the same problem. The door on the cup does not open all the way. Here is what I did. On the back of the dishwasher door are 7 phillip head screws. Take those out and the door inner cover comes off. There are 2 pieces of black insulation that are glued to the cover. The smaller one had slid down to where it was blocking the cup door from opening all the way. Pull this black insulation off and put it back in the right place. I even put a little hot glue under to keep it from sliding again. Hope this works.

It indicates a water temp problem. If water temp doesn't rise at a certain rate, by the heater, it goes into this error. Probably a problem with heater or wires to it.
SOURCE: Dry Dishwasher Soap Still in dispenser after wash.
so here it is...
get a screw driver (you may need a "star" head driver as well), get in there and take out all that you can and clean it (it all comes out pretty easily)...you will find a lot of undisolved soap and hard water build up...rinse it, scrape it, vacuum it...just get out as much as you can...keep note of how you took it apart so you can put it back together...then put 1/2 to a whole gallon of vinegar in and run a cycle (hi-temp if you have that option)...if it was like mine most of your sprayers were gummed up and the water just wasn't moving through the machine...
to avoid this problem...use half of what you have been using of your detergent...and only fill the "pre rinse" section if you are doing pots and pans....and then only fill that half way as well.
after that run a few cups of vinegar through on an empty cycle once a month...
whole job (not including the wash cycle) 1.5 hours...
SOURCE: Loud Buzzing Sound from Dishwasher
have you ever seen green led "Clean" light flashing? before or about the same time the buzzing sound started? and if so that would indicate that the control senses a fault in the temperature rise during the heating cycle and that the electronic control could be reset by initiating a service diagnostic cycle.(which is what you were trying to do) pls reread your manual there are times during that sequence that some buttons have to be pushed at the same time and within a certain amount of time..possible that your machine also has a bad timer which would give you a buzzing noise..if thats the case I would recommend replacing the cpu or control board..or the machin all together..The Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard name is sears but whirpool has the contract to produce all "kenmore products.hope that helps.
SOURCE: My Kitchen Aid dishwasher runs for about 2 hours. Is this normal
Kitchen Aid KUDI02FRSS2 - I have the same problem and called Kitchen Aid (Whirlpool). They originally told me the control panel needed to self-program and that I needed to let it run through one complete cycle before it would lock in the program. When this didn't work they told me the unit has water temperature sensors in it that controls the length of wash depending on the incoming water temperature. When I told them the house water temperature was borderline scalding they said they could send a repair tech out for $75 just to come to the house. I told them to forget it and could buy the control panel for $80 bucks and install it myself for free. I had a previous K/A dishwasher that ran for 30 years without a problem. This one was a problem from day one. Never again - Whirlpool or K/A
