I have had this problem with two of my previous washers a top loader and front loader. Each time it was a faulty pump that drains the water from the tub after the wash cycle is complete. If the water does not drain from the tub the machine will not go to the spin cycle. Both of my washers were 5 or 6 years old when this occurred. If the washer is only 5 months old it should be under the manufactures warranty. Good Luck.
It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing. I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information. RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell. In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

The problem is a faulty Door Latch Assembly. The same thing happened to my Frigidaire front load washer. The part is easy to install, costs about 60 dollars and can be picked up at most appliance repair stores . To access the switch just remove the wire around the front drum gasket, peel back the rubber gasket beside the switch assembly then remove the two screws holding it in place.
remove the three wire connector blocks and swap in the new switch. My washer was giving me error code 41 witch is a faulty control board. But the problem was in fact only the switch...
just had my frigidaire fronter loader repaired,,try the door switch ...mines wouldnt spin clothes were soaked did everything else fine... what may have happen is when the spin cycle is ready to do its part it double checks to see if door is locked but with a bad switch it sends the wrong signal and computer this the door is open so it shuts off....well gl mines is running got lots of laundry to do,.,,,hope this helps
if your washer is digital or with elecronic control board check the the motor control board located at the bottom difiniely you have to call a tech to confirm that. other model like wd5595 and wd 8095 has the same problem and it is the motor control unit that always fails.
