Question about Ricoh Aficio CL3500N Laser Printer
I'm getting a splat of black ink on one side of each page. I've changed the conductor unit and waste toner bottle and am still having this problem.
Check that the fuser is reaching the right temperature, Is the paper coming out warm?
Is the toner loose on the paper?
To check the fuser:
Switch off the device, disconnect the mains plug and wait for 30 minutes before continuing.
Ensure that the bypass tray is closed, or you will not be able to open the front cover.
Open the front cover by pressing the release buttons as shown.
Pull the front cover down towards you.
Disconnect the green plug - squeeze the sides of the plug and pull.
Push the left and right levers outward to unlock the unit.
Pull the unit towards you as shown and lift it clear of the device.
See it has toner residue at both ends.
If so, you'll need to replace it.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
