Question about Televison & Video
After many months of effortless recording just recently the recorder continually freezes. If you go into the library say to delete a program it freezes. Can you help?
Just got off the phone to TopUp TV and they knew how to sort this out.
Follow these steps
1. Turn on unit and press menu
2. choose set-up
3. then choose Help
4. On the help screen type the number 1397 on your remote - This will take you to an Engineer set-up screen.
5. Scroll down to option 7 (disable library video window) and toggle this option to "YES"
navigate back to your programs and delete the recording that was giving you the problem.

It seems like there is a possible grounding issue with your satellite which could cause the hard rive to become corrupted and have the issues you have explained.
