Hello I need advise please.
I had my hp cartridges refilled and they haven't really worked since. I don't need to print out very often, so I didn't realise the problem was still ongoing. I thought the cartridge would need time to settle. However, it prints out in pale blue only. Both the cartridges are 90% full. I've tried test pages, which prints out the black very well, but there doesn't seem to be any red anywhere.
Do you feel this is because I've had the cartridges refilled? Would it be more economical for me to replace the printer with one which wouldn't be so temperamental to generic and/or refilled cartridges?
I would appreciate your help please.

Hello, usually the refilled cartridges doesn't work well.
You can try to fix your problem doing this:
1) Put some boiling water into a cup
2) Put the the cartrigde (print surface) close to the water to receive the steam (not inside the water)
Do this just a couple of minutes.
3) Put it back ther cartridge into the printer
4) Align or clean the cartridges with a printer program
5) Try printing again
If still does'nt work buy original cartridges or due the high cost of them buy a new printer.
