Question about Toshiba 50HP66 50 in. Plasma Television
A freind of mine gave me this tv as a trade on some work I completed on his home. When I plugged it in, however, the screen slowly faded in with black horizontal lines that never went away. The whole screen is dark and the colors are pastel and watered out. What is the problem and what might it take to fix it.
Thanx, Nathan chattanooga, TN
It sounds like you have a fault on the picture frame board and for a competant technician this is not much of a problem. Or it could be something as simple as dry solder joints. Either way the tv can be saved and is worth fixing. Hope this helps.
