Question about GE JGRP20 Gas Single Oven
My broiler works but the oven will not get warm. I do not have a manual to try to trouble shoot the problem.
Check to see if the ignitor glows in the oven. If it does not come on or comes on very dim, you have a bad ignitor. It is usually a bad ignitor. They are very simple to replace. Just unplug the oven first. Then take off the bottom of the oven floor inside the oven to access the ignitor. the ignitor has 2 wires going to a plug, just unplug the plug and remove the mounting screws. Take your ignitor to a local appliance store to get a replacement. There are 2 models of ignitors so bring the old one with you to make sure you get the right one. Good luck..
