How to enable wireless multimedia

Got this from Apple website:

his applies only to third-party routers. Apple AirPort products do not have a setting to enable or disable WMM.

WMM must be enabled for devices to connect. Disabling WMM on your wireless router can prevent the following Apple products from connecting to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network:

  • iPad
  • iPhone
  • iPod touch
  • Apple TV

If you are unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network on any of these devices, check to ensure that WMM is enabled and configured correctly on your wireless router. If you require additional assistance, please contact your router manufacturer.

try to look at the SATA configuration in your BIOS settings.. if its disable. just change it to enable mode. or switch your other hardware to slave mode. maybe there's a conflict in your devices.

IDE Ports not working on ASUS P5LD2-VM Mobo

Good Day sir, hi, Have you tried to enable the IDE on BIOS setup. If the Bios setup did not solve the IDE problem, check the IDE port of the HARD drive, check if there are bent pins.
If still wont work, you can buy a PCI to IDE/SATA card, this is an expansion card in PCI format with IDE and SATA port.We use this card incase the IDE or SATA on the motherboard gets bad. Connect it on the available PCI slot. Then connect the IDE cable of the Hard disk to this card. Thats it.

I m unable to open my laptop some kind of

Are you trying literally to open up your Laptop with a screw driver or something... or are you trying to install XP on a Vista pre-installed laptop... Here's the solution...
Go to the BIOS setup [press F8 on startup], & change the disk controller setting from AHCI to IDE. might worth the try. Some Laptops don't have option of SCSI or IDE. But there are SATA Enable/Disable option. Try disabling SATA. Make sure you have all the necessary drivers for your laptop before installing windows...
Let me know if this doesn't solve the problem...

Can I run Sata and IDe Drives together?

Yes. You have two IDE ATA/133 sockets and two SATA sockets. So you can run a maximum of 4 ATA devices and two SATA devices.
Choose your boot order in BIOS.

My computer wont let me install OS

You have to reboot and tap F2 to go to BIOS select option to enable the Secondary controller and to detect the proper IDE Devices?

Also make sure the IDE cable is firmly attached and the you have pin 1 alligned properly at all 2 (or3) connectors. And if you have 2 IDE devices attached make sure one jumper ( in HD or CD ) is set to master and the other to slave.

If none of this works, try a known good CD rom drive that you can try and try switching with a known good cable.

Once the system recognize the CD ROM youre set to go !

Check the SD memory card. There is a slider on the side of the card for locking to enable read-only mode. This slide should be up to enable read/write mode

Dell Precision 380

So the 80GB drive is an IDE drive, right?

Different manufacturer's have different BIOS' so I can't say with certainty what you'll see in yours, but on my ASUS motherboards I have a one of three settings:

PATA
SATA
PATA+SATA

When I run both IDE and SATA drives I need to use the third setting. I sounds like you're shutting off the PATA when you enable the SATA so there's no drive from which to boot.

If I misunderstand your problem please let me know.
