Follow this link and it will tell you what the beep code is saying. You will need to count the beeps and it will be listed here at this site what the codes mean. Once you find out what the problem is, we can begin the trouble shooting process. Heres the link, hope this helps! http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/phoenixbeep.htm
Sounds like a RAM problem. Best bet is to purchase a stick of RAM from a store that will let you try it and return it if the problem is not solved. The beeping is a BIOS error code that signifies that something is wrong with your hardware.
If you have 2 sticks of RAM installed try removing one of them and then if the beep code happens again try to swap them out.
Does not switch on from mains.????????????? PLEASE EXPLAIN..........
Is the laptop lights not coming on when you plug it in? If not refer to the following.
Are you sure that your power plug has not broken loose. You will have to take the laptop apart to find this out. Sometimes the solder joint will come loose. Do not take this laptop apart unless you know what you are doing. The manual can give you step by step directions sometimes. It is not easy to take it apart without breaking the little things. If you do take it apart, take pictures of every step and take notes and even draw picture so you will know where everything goes. You can touch the plug where it is soldered and re-solder the plug. Please be careful. This takes someone with good solder skills to do.
