Replacement bobbin for sewing genie

I'm wondering if I can buy replacement bobbins at a store here that would fit my sewing genie. I looked around in the store but all the brands look the same to me.

The bobbin spool will not click to the right to fill bobbin. It moves but not all the way. I have a Euro Pro Model # 1260DX

You can always check out a standalone bobbin winder to wind your bobbins--available at most local fabric stores or online, ie Amazon... It costs around $30 and is electric or battery operated. Makes it easy to wind bobbins without unthreading the sewing machine. Also saves wear and tear on your machine. Just make sure that your machine bobbins will work on the unit--some bobbins (possibly Singer) will not fit.

Sewing Machine is unthreading itself.

I don't know the answer to your question but I have a thought - someone recently asked why her sewing machine motor was running backwards.

I wonder has your machine motor suddenly started running backwards and if so would that cause your problem?

Does a stand alone bobbin winder for futura singer bobbin exist?

A stand alone bobbin winder DOES exist, is commonly available, does a better job, AND is inexpensive. Just go to the WalMart site (even if you don't want to buy from there) and put "bobbin winder" as a search term. My favorite is a Simplicity, available for under $25, AND if you order it and pick it up at one or their stores or a FedEx facility, shipping is free.

What bobbins fit the singer featherweight 117

The Featherweight II 117 uses the Class 15 bobbin. A 4-pack of the Dritz equivalent of the bobbin is available from Amazon here: . Singer has a 10-pack of the bobbins here: . You can buy a manual from Singer, as well. (See their Instruction Manual page from the Customer Support Link then enter 117 in the Search box.)

I hope this helps.

When I try to sew, the bobbin bangs around, like it doesn't fit.

Is it the bobbin or the bobbin case that is banging around? If I don't seat my bobbin case properly, it rattles and eventually falls out. Your bobbin case may be damaged, in which case, the bobbin is not going to fit properly. I dropped and stepped on my bobbin case once and the machine had the same symptoms. Then there's the obvious answer, a wrong size bobbin got mixed up with your bobbins. I've had that happen when I've taken a class with others. We all share tools and sometimes the right ones don't get back to their proper owner.

My daughter tried to remove a jammed bobbin on my singer machine. The bobbin holding mechanism fell apart. Is there a diagram to show how the parts fit together?

looking straight on at the area where assembly goes, First clean and oil area, the jam was likely caused by accumulated dust or a small piece of thread . You should have three pieces, four including the bobbin itself. first piece to be replaced has a center post this piece goes into the machine by fitting it to the bobbin area, it will only go in one way so when it fits into place you will know. the next piece is a ring this piece has a small piece of metal attached to the top when looking at it correctly the two screws will be on top and there should be two indentions. first one is at 3 oclock and the other is at 9 oclock fit this piece into machine and there should be a lever on either side that turns around and rests in to indentions. replace your bobbin in the bobbin case ,be sure to thread the case correctly and load into newly assembled bobbin area making sure that it clicks into pplace
