How to delete photos and attachments in e-mail side bar
I don't know if this is a problem or not but I noticed over a thousand pics and attachments in e-mail side bar folsers labeled Pictures and Attachments, but I don't see anyway to delete them.
They are nothing I will use again so why keep them on computer?
Thanks for any help and explanation you can give.

Re: How to delete photos and attachments in e-mail side...
Actually there's a way to delete those attachment items as well as the photos, but it is not the usual way of deleting messages in an inbox that we can check them all and delete all at once. This is what you have to do, Go to your My Photos or My Attachments folder, actually it's not a folder but a link.Click the Subject of the photo or attachment, Then hit the Delete button.
Do the same with the rest, and now it's easier 'cause after you've deleted the first one, the rest will follow one by one, therefore what you have to do is keep on clicking the delete button till all of it is gone.
There you go, you can delete those unnecessary and irritating attachments you have. I hope I have solved your problem....Thank you,a for rate this solution if it does solved your problem will be much appreciated...enjoy....

Put the messages into the "in" box of your mail. Then, choose the attachments section and "remove" attachments. THe mail will be kept but the attachments will be gone. If they were not attachments just copy the text to a Word program sheet and delete the messages with the pictures. Then paste the Word document into a new mail message, and you are ready to send them without pictures!
When you reply or start a new message, you should see "Attachments" below your reciever address. Click that link, which will bring up your documents etc etc. Select pic or pics you want to add, or simply double click.
There's very little difference in how you take a photo between digital and film cameras and simply getting out there and convincing your kids 10 thousand photos is "normal" will get you well on your way. Check out your local community education programs or your local library for easy, simple and well priced courses you can take to bring you up to speed in the world of digital. There may also be a local camera club you may want to join as these can be fun as well as informative. Digital is a lot of fun because you can adjust and manipulate photos on your computer as well as see photos right away instead of waiting for the lab.
The beauty of digital cameras is that film processing is eliminated and if you don't like the pic you simply delete it. So click away and have fun.
Depending on your camera's make it may have a program built in so when you hook up to your computer it will automatically integrate with your computer in order to download pics. Picture Manager is a nice program within Word to manipulate sizes and the like while Photoshop is a much more intense program that can be purchased and downloaded onto your computer but as a beginner you may find Photoshop overwhelming.
you have to hook it up to a computer and depending on whether you've been using iTunes or windows explorer to manage the ipod will determine how you delete it. in itunes you just open the ipod menu on the navigation bar on the left side of the screen, open the photos tab, and delete the ones you don't want. Alternatively in windows you can open the device in "my computer" go to DCIM and delete the photos there too.
I'm going to assume that you are speaking of pics you have received in an email. If so, you can simply delete the mail. If you want to keep the mail and not the pic(s) you can: 1. Open the mail and click on the "forward" option. 2. When the new mail comes up ready to send, you will have the option to delete the attachment (photo). In Yahoo Mail Classic, it will be beside the thumbnail of the of the pic(s)(just below the subject line), and will have the word "remove" beside it. Click "Remove" It will ask you if you are sure you wish to delete the attachment, click "OK". 3. Address the mail to yourself (you can also change the subject line to read what you wish). 4. Click send. 5. When the new mail arrives without the pic(s) (you may have to refresh the page if it doesn't show up in a moment or two...right click on the open page and click Refresh" or "Reload"), you can delete the old mail and the pic(s). In newer versions of Yahoo Mail the option tp remove an attachment may be at the bottom or elsewhere on the page. If this doesn't solve your problem, you "may" be able to comment on this solution and if so I should see it. In your comment give more accurate information regarding the photo (i.e. where it resides, is it in your mailbox, photo sharing in chat, or elsewhere on your pc. Tell how you received the photo and whether or not you viewed it, downloaded it, etc.If you can't comment then repost with more detailed information please. Good luck! If this helps you resolve your problem, please consider giving me a rating of 4 and maybe a "thanks" It will help me as well. Thank you.
Hi there, follow the step.
1. login. 2. compose mail. 3 . TO: type the Email address of your friend. 4. click attach. 5. select the photos and attached it. remember it will take few times to attach . after that you will see Photo icons bellow the attachment bar. 6. give subject & text him what your like to say. 7. press send. Must remember your sender email id is perfect. If wrong then it will bounce back with failure notice. After receive the photo your friend also view the Image icon as like you seen in your below attachment list. If he download the attachment fine then he/she will able to see the photographs. Don't worry That's photo can’t transfer as negative mode. Same the original what you send, Nothing has to be changed.
For a trial you attach a photo and send in your on email id. For exam: email@example.com its your email id. send a photo TO: firstname.lastname@example.org . same time you got a new message come on your inbox, Open that & see how that photo look.
when you go to read your e-mail window, on the left side is your list of contacts, folders, deleted etc, above those is your mail icons in the tool bars. send, new, etc. there is a little paper clip Icon for attaching files or photos. It will ask you where the file or photo is that you want to attach, Usually ln your My Documents or Temp file. whereever you keep them. and to open links, usually your media player, or MsOffice programs will do it for you automatically after you click on the link. Or, you might have to install the software that opens that particular program, maybe a ISO builder. Good Luck.
