Truck slow and stuck on accelation,

GO TO YOUR LOCAL PARTS STORE, ADVANCE AUTO, ETC., HAVE THEM PULL THE CODES STORED IN THE ECM, THEY CAN TELL U WHAT THEY R

EGR is stuck open, but a flashing engine light can be a misfire code also detecting a rich condition, right back to the egr.

Automatic? may need a rebuild on the torque converter or u-joints could be getting sloppy and need replacing.

Did you change the transmission filter? Sounds like no Front pump pressure. dirty filter will cause cavitation of the pump and damage to pump. Damage to cutch packs will occur too. Do not run until investigating filter, make sure o ring or grommet in valve body is present for filter

Could they possibly have gotten the timing(check it with a light) off or distributor turned wrong? don-ohio

not camshaft sensor get transmission oil checked

if its manual sounds like your clutch could be slipping does car smell of burt clutch?
check cluth adjustment
may need new clutch
do stall test with hand brake on, foot (heel-toe) on brake and accel pedal to about 2000rpm then let out clutch and car should stall if engine revs go down and engine still runs but you can rev causing slip and you will now smell what slipping burnt clutch is replace it.

if its auto check trans oil level and what does it look like red-good
darker red to black-bad often smells burnt also possibly new trans required.

be very wary as headgaskets often mean other problems,overheating etc i would find another car as this is not a job for the faint of heart, other problems may arise and then your stuck. why did the headgasket blow? get back to me if you need more help as i strive to be the best please rate my answer

it may be a faulty relay

anywhere up to about 190-220 is normal. You might want to wire your fans up to a switch so you can run them all the time/at your discretion if you don't like it that hot.
