Any driver Microsoft has not tested and signed off will cause windows' to display this warning. Windows tries to protect itself from malicious software. If you know this software is safe, hit the continue anyway button. always be prepared to uninstall or disable this if it locks up your computer.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to fix an unknown error occured (-9808) in itunes

check your computer's date, time, and time zone. If they are not correct, set the correct date, time, and time zone.

If your computer's date, time, and time zone are all correct and you still see this alert message, this issue can be resolved by modifying certain settings in the Internet Options control panel:

Go to the Start menu and choose Control Panel.
Select Internet Options.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista you may need to select Classic View on the left before you can see Internet Options.
Note: If you are using WIndows 7 you may need to change "View by" to either Large icons or Small icons before you can see Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Settings box, scroll down to the Security section.

Deselect the option to "Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)."
Select the options for "SSL 3.0" and "TLS 1.0."
Apply the changes and restart your computer.

I get a message that you have security certificate error, navigation blocked....and it says that your security certificate has expired or invaid. So plz help me in solving this problem i want to connect...

Please tell us your operating system (Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.8, 10.9 etc.)

In general, certificates will fail if your computers clock/date/time is incorrect. Check your settings and try again if necessary.

You need to run an anti-virus program. this is most commonly someone trying to get your password for face book using a Trojan of some sorts. looks like you been browser hijacked. AVG is the best free anti-virus software in my opinion. if you get any error trying to download it it is most certainly a virus. as most virus's prevent you from downloading software that will remove it.

Certificate error on web site.

This is basically an Internet Explorer 7 Website’s Security Certificate problem! You have to self-sign the certificate on the client computer or add the URL manually to the trusted security zone. When you are trying to access a secure web page, you receive the warning message:

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority."

Or

"Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server."

To fix this issue, you can follow either of the methods:

Method 1:

You have to install the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) self-signed certificate on the client computer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • In Windows Internet Explorer 7, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.
  • Click Certificate Error button to open the information window.
  • Click View Certificates > click Install Certificate.
  • Click Yes, to install the certificate, when warning message appear.

Note: For Windows Vista users, right click on Internet Explorer icon. Select Run as Administrator.

Method 2:

Add the URL to the Trusted Sites security zone:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Go to Menu bar > Tools > Internet Options.

    tool.jpg
  • Click Security > Trusted sites > Sites

    sec.jpg
  • Type the URL in the Add this website to the zone text box > uncheck Require server verification >Add > click OK

    trust.jpg
  • Click OK to exit.

Now you have added the URL successfully into the Trusted Sites security zone.

Certificate errors

This is simply letting you know that comcast.net has not updated or chosen to participate in a certificate program that microsoft uses.  It is nothing to worry about with your email site.  If you go to unknown websites I recommend that you do not continue if you get this warning.  Only way to get rid of it is to reduce your protection on the internet which I would not recommend.

Major DNS error

1. There are many options!
2. Yes, Probably, but perhaps not. "You don't know, what you don't know!"
3. Reloading from scratch on an HP is dependant on the model.

Now if you would like to try some other options,

You say you are connected to a modem and a router. Your modem is a router for all intents and purposes even if it has only a single lan port. If your using a second router, you are double NATing. The second router should not be configured as a gateway but as a router. Then your DHCP assigned IP addreses will be correct as well as defaualt gateway and DNS settings.

Try this, do not use the WAN port for the second router, just plug it into one of the other ports. This will allow the router to work pretty much as a hub. If this works, reconfigure the router to be a router not a gateway.

Certificate error I cannot get into any email accounts

Hi,
Please perform the following steps.
This error message appears because the security certificate was issued by the University itself and not by an authority acknowledged by Microsoft.
To solve this problem, for most webpages you just have to install the "CA Certificate" of Ghent University in your browser.
For certain websites, such as https://zephyr.ugent.be, you need to import its own certificate:
Click on "Certificate Error" next to the IE7 address bar and then "View certificates"
Click on "Install certificate..."
Click "Next"
You will be asked where the certificate has to be stored. You can use the default setting and click "Next".
Click "Finish"
Confirm by clicking "Yes"
On your next visit, you will not see the error message again. Hopefully it should work.. Thank you
