Question about Kenwood DNX7100 Car Video Player

Open Question

Mech. error my dnx7100 ate a cd of mine. It played fine the first time, but then it just wouldnt play it anymore. The tilt on the screen went out too. I press the eject button, the screen goes down, the cd wont pop out and the screen does not go back up! When i switch the mode to cd all it reads is "Mech. Error".     my kenwood 7100 ate my cd.. going in for service repair...2nd time....screen shows mecha error...I wont buy anything kenwood after this

My slimline ps2 will not play ps2 games anymore, i went and played a ps1 game (which still work) and no it wont play DVDs or ps2 games


Mine did the same thing. The laser for the PS2 games, and DVD's died. I guarentee that it plays CD's and PS1 games perfectly. if so, the laser needs replaced. and what you have to do is order one on Ebay or something, and have some one put it in. I put a new laser in mine, and well, I am watching a DVD on it right now.

The arm on my 1015 Werlitzer will not reset itself.

or the parking prake wire is not grounded... that's what happened to me. Just find a spot to ground the parking brake wire and video should appear.
