Question about Ricoh Aficio AP410N Laser Printer

1 Answer

Having to press paperfeed then enter to print

When I send something to be printed through the network then go to the printer to get it, I first have to press the paper feed button then the enter button before it will print. Problem, if I need to send more than one thing to the printer, the second item will come up with an error because the printer is currently waiting on me to push the paper feed and enter buttons. How do I change this so it will automatically print without me having to press the two buttons???

The problem may lie in the print server, and not your pc. Have an IT administrator check the drivers and ports.

Hi, I am having problems printing a Word document. When I press Print, it only prints two-thirds of the page. What am I doing wrong please?

Okay, the paperfeed at the top, on the left hand side there is a grey slide, (right in the printer) to hold the paper in place. Use it to keep the paper straight! It seems that if the paper goes in straight, the whole page is printed, if it doesn't it messes up the page.

I had a paper jam and cleared it. Now the power light and paperfeed light are on and won't go off. I cannot print nor turn off the printer via the buttons. I have reinstalled drivers, opened the back panel...

What precisely IS the error message? In lieu of this information, unplug the printer. Check the paper path thoroughly including between rollers. Any tiny fragment will jam. Use a falshlight and magnifier if you must. Load with normal thickness printer paper. Plug the unit in. Hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Test page should print.

Xerox Phaser 8550 Won't Print

I was having the same problem. Turns out the IP address in the printer was incorrect. Once I changed the IP address the printer works just fine through our network again. Find your IP address off your server and follow these steps:

1. Choose Info on display menu, press okay button
2. Choose Info pages, press okay
3. Configuration pages-printer info, press okay
4. IP address should read: Correct IP Address number should be displayed on screen.

If not follow these steps to change it:

1. Find printer setup on display menu, press okay
2. Go to connection setup-press okay
3. Network setup-press okay
4. TCP/IP setup-press okay
5. Auto should show as “Off”
6. TCP/IP should show as “On”
7. DHCP/Boot should show as “Off”

If any of these are not listed on display correctly press ok, reset to either On or Off and then enter correct IP address.

Press okay button and follow steps on display menu to exit back to main menu display screen.

I have a new canon mp210 printer ink is low i bought new ink to replace old their is no ink cartridges in printer. When i look at the pictures to load new ink and put it in alarm light is flashing

Even if the ink level is low, you can continue printing.Press the paperfeed knob for 5 seconds. inklevel indicator will stop now.
Sometimes a new (or refilled) cartridge is not recognised correctly.
When one color is really mt, stop printing and replace inmideatly the colorcartridge.Printing or scanning without the 2 cartridges in place is impossible.

Prinitng Problem OKI

A printer only prints what it gets from the pc/network. Therefore I would uninstall and reinstall the driver on your pc/server. Do not use the cd provided but download the driver from OKI's website.
