Question about Cameras
You may need to use some light "force" to manipulate the lens barrel into its proper orientation. Try a combination of turning it on and helping the barrel to rotate one way or the other. Also try a little manipulation when the camera is shut off, to get the lens to retract properly. This is a fairly common issue with the E series cameras. If you are uncomfortable with the amount of force you should use, run it into any competant photo store. They've probably run into the same issue before. Good luck.
