Question about ' II' DIY Car Alarm Vehicle Anti-theft Alarm
My alarm is repeatedly going off for no reason. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it?
Make sure all your door switches work for you interia lights also some alarm systems have a sound senser any sound like broken glass noise of passing cars or trucks and alike will trip the system. Check for loose conections

My experience leads me to believe that the remote battery may be weak. Try replacing the battery and see if the condition is eliminated. this is the first thing that I would check if your vehicle was in my service department.

You should consult a repair person to check your alarm.
Shooting in the dark is nice but not effective.

Minimiזe the risk of it going off first.
(1) Open and close the doors/boot/bonnet to make sure one isn't partly open.
(2) If there's a plunger switch for the bonnet then push that up and down a few times to maybe get rid of a dodgy connection.
(3) Press the recirculating air switch/lever with the engine on and make sure you hear it whirr into position.
(4) Close all face vents
(5) Turn the air direction switch to the feet/floor
Then try your alarm. It could be something simple like the sensitivity needing to be turned down or a faulty sensor.
