Question about Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White
Bought this a year ago from Lowes..when i went to use front and back left burners i heard and saw sparks from left side of control panel...my son accidently used the left back burner the other day and it started a small but short lasting fire (stopped as soon as it was turned to off position). i am trying to see if there are any recalls or if anyone else has had a similar problem with this oven...or any solutions on how to fix it..the oven works fine and right burners are ok as well. NO HELP FROM FRIGIDAIRE

It sounds like you have a faulty solenoid on your FSD (Flame Safeguard Device) This should, when working correctly, allow a small amount of gas through to the burner, if faulty no gas will come through despite being turned on at the control.
It's quite a fiddly job and i would highly recommend a 'Gas Safe' engineer take a look at it for you.
I hope this helps.

Hi friarjp - I am happy to assist you. First, I will need your model number to better address the issue at hand. With this information I can verify which part you need exactly. Is it the right, left, back or front burner element or are you referring to the bake and/or broiler element.
