Question about Uniden TRU8885-2 Cordless Phone
I have the Uniden TRU8885-2 Phones system with no problems for over a year and a half now (great phones) ... a few days ago i start notice every time i receive a phone call the phone will ring for two short rings then the phone will restarts or reboot. Its starts showing the "Welcome ... Please wait message" on the display screen, meaning that its powering up for the first time and as soon as the phone is ready, i get two short rings then it restarts again. When the phone is not receiving any phone call, i get the a dial tone on the base and the hand set with no problem. I have tried to reset the base by holding down the delete message button while plugging in the power, wait for 6 seconds until i hear the long beep. I have de-register the hands sets and then re-register them (hold the end and # keys together for 6 seconds). I have unpluged the phone, let it sit there overnight and still the same problem. I am also getting a hard time contacting Uniden support. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
YOUR batteries are bad and not giving full current to phone.Clean charging contact and see battery gets full charge. IFthe battery indicator will show full charge due to voltage but once if you remove battery and put it again indicator will be minimum. then replace batttery.
