Could be your fuses, blower motor, or blower motor resistor. Jags are fickle cars and are best dealt with by experienced mechanics that specialize in European vehicles.

Where's the fuse for the AC on 98 Olds 88?

So what does the fuse that blows, protect?

You need a wiring diagram & start to test
the components most likely to cause a high
current draw & blown fuse.

Don't keep replacing it.

You know the fan control circuit works, but the
compressor doesn't stay on. Did you monitor
the compressor as the fuse blew?

May have a module for compressor & fan
If so one side failed
The compressor clutch could be bad

I have a 96 buick park avenue that the ac doesn't work. No air comes out of the vents when I turn it on

If the blower is working, your door that controls hot/cold air may be stuck. If it is not, check your fuses. If it is the blend control, you can reach behind the glove box and manually try to open.

Driver air cool, passenger air warm or hot

Are you sure you checked the temp door ?Is it hot air ,like the heater?First check the ac compressor to see if it is actually turning, then check the large ac lines near the firewall near the windshield to see if they are cold, and sweating. If they are that rules out freon problem. The temp door might not be moving, check all selections on ac control and watch is door and see if one of them doesn`t move.If one door doesn`t move then it is the one you need to fix,if I can help, let me [email protected]
