My laptop when i log into the internet my laptop is telling me that yahoo messenger has stopped working and a programm has made it stopped, i want to make it work

make sure you have an internet connection. try opening a website.
if you cannot log in to yahoo messenger what error are you getting?
if password error check your password and user name
in yahoo messenger you don't have to type in the @yahoo.com in the username and the password try to type it in the notepad to check if you typed the correct password.
copy that password then paste it in the password box.
check for your antivirus and firewall setting maybe it is stopping your yahoo messenger from connecting the internet.
also try uninstalling and reinstalling your yahoo messenger. try downloading the latest version
if still don't get any luck logging in.

Are you trying to download it to your computer and then push it to your Phone?
Are you able to use rest of the programmes that you uses mobile internet?

There are basic issues why its hard for you to use log in your yahoo messenger. Your internet connection is not stable. The spelling of your user id and password is incorrect. Watch out for Capital letters. For laptop users, the firewall settings is on. These are only basic steps to consider why its hard to connect it.

Yahoo Messenger rely its connection on the internet through Microsoft Internet Explorer. If your internet explorer is out of date better upgrade it.

The best suggestion to improve the connection of your Yahoo Messenger is to upgrade the Internet Explorer of your computer. Compatible to the system software you are currently using. (Example if your operating system is windows vista, Install Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista)
After you upgrade your Internet Explorer, uninstall the yahoo messenger on your computer and then reinstall again. After doing this, restart your computer and try to log in. You will surely see the difference.

These are the link files that you will need to upgrade.
1. Internet Exporer 8 - select your operating system and download IE8
2. Yahoo Messenger 10 - download and install this after you remove previous version of yahoo messenger on your computer

(Note: if you are using different web browser, It doesn't matter. Install Internet Explorer 8 and just don't default it as your web browser)

try to reinstall your yahoo messenger. If it still doest work, check your internet connection

uninstall your yahoo messenger and install again but you choose to put it in another directory not in the default directory. if the problem exist go to your internet explorer and click internet options then go to your connection settings, see there if the bypass is on, uncheck it and choose a default connection then login again your yahoo messenger. Good Luck!

Uninstal the software and uinstal an older version. This will work after which you can update.

I solved the problem by logging into the web yahoo messenger (http://webmessenger.yahoo.com).  Then I was able to log in with the normal messenger client.  I was having the error 81003005 on multiple computers.  After logging into the web messenger, the yahoo client worked on all my computers

That means that you have to uninstall and reinstall Yahoo Messenger.

Go to start then control panel then ADD/REMOVE programs. After that look for Yahoo there highlight it then click on remove. After that restart your computer.

Go to www.yahoo.com then download and install Yahoo Messenger.
