Completely removed all software from computer, changed to a different USB port for connection to computer.
Then reinstalled software, put new batteries in camera then all was OK.

I shot some photos with no memory card installed, i can view the photos on the camera when the card is not in the camera but i can't upload to my computer, is this possible??

You have two options. If you normally transfer your photos by connecting your camera to your computer, remove the memory card before making the connection. This will allow the computer to see the photos in the camera's internal memory.

If you normally transfer your photos by putting the memory card into a card reader, use the Backup command in the Settings-1 menu to transfer the photos from the camera's internal memory to the memory card, then transfer the photos from the card to the computer as normal. How do I transfer my photos from camera to computer - out of town with no manual

Hi,

First of all computer need compatible camera driver/software to communicate with your device (camera), you can download camera driver from its manufacturer's (camera) website. After installing camera software/driver into your PC (Computer). Connect your camera with computer through USB Cable that came up with the camera and transfer photos.

Thanks...!!

Samsung B3310 transferring photos to computer

You can get a cable from ebay easily enough, once connected to your PC and switched on, if you PC doesn't recognise your camera/phone, then I suggest you go to the manufacturers web site, follow links for support and/or downloads and download the respective drivers.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.
