Question about Televison & Video
Can't find the code I used to program the remote for power on.
It currently defaults to Time-Warner Cable's news channel.
After upgrading to HD-DVR box, I can't find the sequence of buttons I pushed to program the cable box to power on to the last channel I was watching when I powered off.
Actually, there is a setting in the cable box for this. You hit the settings button on the remote TWICE, then scroll down to Viewer:Power On. Click on what channel (or last channel) you want it to go to when you power on. Hope this helps. I have the 8300 HDC DVR.
