IPod Shuffle 2nd & 3rd gen Sync cable

save up to $50, make a sync cable for ipod shuffle 2nd gen and 3rd gen on your own,

all you need is a 4 poles 3.5 mm jack, and USB plug. you get this on an old USB connectors ,

the color coding of USB cables is in standard so all you have to do is to solder the color coded wire to the 3.5 mm jack

here are the links of pictures of wire color coding that tells where the wire shouuld be solder http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab192/matrix_jc2001/Untitled-1.jpg

I lost the USB connector to my Coby MP550 MP3 player a long time ago. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement?

Honestly I could not find one either maybe the reason being that is quite an inexpensive piece. I see them online for $15.99, you are better off just buying the same model brand new. If you were to find the actual cable I guarantee the cable is at least more than 50% of $16 ($8) so I would just go after a new one instead.

I recently bought sansa e270 and i am facing problem that i could not charge when it is connectd to the pc. Its showing just connectd, but no symbol of charging. whats the problem, what should i do to...

Hi
Check the Manual
User’s Guide

Hay Don't worry it will work
Note: Some low-power USB ports may not be able to provide enough
charge power. Also note that rechargeable batteries may
eventually need to be replaced as they have limited charge
cycles (which vary with use and settings).

Li-ion Battery
The Sansa e200 MP3 player comes with a replaceable and rechargeable
lithium ion battery. To use the player for the very first time, remember to
fully charge the Li-ion battery. You can charge your Sansa through the USB
port of your computer, a car adapter (not included) USB port, or AC adapter
(not included) USB port.

Please execute the following instructions for charging the battery using
an USB port.
1) Connect the smaller end of the USB cable into an available USB
port on the computer
2) Connect the larger end of the USB cable into the dock connector of
the player
3) The computer must be on for most USB ports to charge your
battery. Your Sansa will show connected and the yellow charging
indicator will appear. The battery level indicator will blink while
charging. You will not be able to play while connected to the
computer USB.
4) To stop recharging, disconnect the cable.
The battery can also be charged using an AC adapter (not included) or
a car adapter (not included) and you will be able to play your device
while charging with one of the adapters. The battery will reach
approximately 70% charge in 2.5 hours and full charge in about 3.5
hours. It is recommended that you fully charge your Sansa e200
before the first use.
