Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
Hi Tom... I can't play anything on my laptop's dvd rom drive... I put in a disk (of anything!) and nothing happens. The drive doesn't even show up on 'my computer' anymore. Have checked the Device Manager, and it says it can't load the driver for this as it is corrupt/missing! (driver: 6.0.6001.18000 (longhorn_rtm. 080118-1840). I have tried to find a way to download the file again (in a way I understand... I'm not a whizz with computers), but so far have failed to solve the problem. HELP!!! :)
had the same problem after a recent windows automatic update, tried everything but sadly had to re-format and start again with system software and sure enough all was well.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
