TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.

Is the bobbin supposed to move on the Bernette Deco 600?

The bobbin will move only when the thread is being pulled. The problem with your machine is that the timing has missed aligned. It will need service. 99% of all sewing machine misalign due to continued use.

Bernina Deco 650 Check if upper or lower thread is cut shows on

turn machine off and on to see if message clears... not sure for that machine ( I work with Brother products) but if it has a wiper (small hook shaped blade) that trims the tread automatically it may be stuck in the extended position

DOES THE BERNINA BERNETTE DECO 600 ACCEPT .ART EMBROIDERY DESIGNS SUCH AS I USE FOR MY ARTISTA 730E? ALSO, DOES BROTHER MAKE THE BERNINA BERNETTE DECO 600?

Not sure if you found anything out, but Deco 600 uses PES format only.
If you have the software (Deco Wizard) sometimes you can change it to PES and save the design.
Good luck

My Bernette Deco 600 is not picking up the bobbin thread. I have cleaned the machine and retreaded many times. The sensor thinks there is no tread on the bobbin. What can I do to resolve this problem?

At the very worst you may need to retime the machine if you have already checked that the needle is in the correct way round and is a good one, I can attach timing instructions if you email me drivewithken@blueyonder.co.uk

Top color thread showing on bottom of embroidery on a Bernina Deco 330 embroidery machine

Upper tension is too loose or lower tension is too tight. This might be a good thing. It depends upon how much it is pulling the thread under. A perfect tension on embroidery is about 2/3's lower thread and 1/3 upper thread showing on the bottom.

It could be that there is a loose piece of thread, or some fluff which is obstructing the tension gauge. Try blowing around the theading area (or even run the hoover pipe near it to see if you can **** it out). I cleared mine by folding a piece of non fluffy material and rubbing gently between the tension dial and machine.

Good luck
