Hp 7280 blank page & print stalling

My manager has a C7280 wired (ethernet) to a Sky broadband router (netgear- the one that looks like a cheap sky box) which in turn is connected wirelessly to a Vista Laptop and also connected through ethernet via router to a XP lap top.
We've experienced the problem of a blank page before each print & print stalling, ie print pauses for a while (15 minutes) & then continues on its own accord, this was however a PDF document.
