    Could you please clarify me which Web Browser used? What is the operating system?


    Which email account and what the errror message coming up.


    This will help me to investigate further and fix the problem.

Reinsall the outlook and add Email account again will solve the problem.

When sending emails how do i type in my email address


Email address is made up of two parts

yourid@domainname of your email provider.

So jamesridel@Hotmail.com

Is email address of James Ridel whose provider is Hotmail.com.

The separation character is the @ symbol.

The email provider does not have to be your Internet provider.
Normally you set up an email account and your email address is put in for you, as "From:xxxx@xxxx"
You just have to put in who you want to send it to.

How to reduce the number 0f stored emails and then set a limit time for emails?


Find the gear box (settings) and here you should find options as to how many emails will be displayed per page when you login in, (i.e. 10 per page, 20 per page etc). Each email provider is set up differently, however most put the email settings on the upper right hand corner. Look for a gear icon, or the word "settings", "email preferences" or words to that affect. You will also find, when viewing your list of emails, a check box at the top left (directly above the first displayed email). This allows you to select "all" emails currently listed within the page, and delete them all at once. Be sure you look through the list as to not delete any important emails or emails you'd like to keep. If you do accidentally delete one, fearnoy as you simply can go to your "deleted" folder l, select the email(s) you want to keep, and "move" them to your inbox. Why do I receive duplicate emails?


Duplicate emails usually come from having more than one email account and having one of the accounts automatically "pulling" (meaning retrieving the email) from the second. Thus, if you then pull from both accounts to your PC you will get the original from the first email account and a duplicate that was pulled by the second email account from the first...two emails. The solution is to either stop the second email account from pulling from the first or stop pulling from the first to your email program.

Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Gmail make it easy for email account holders to request an old password.
You must know your complete email address and have an alternative email address or cell phone number where a confirmation code can be sent.
If you cannot get your password back, your email provider will delete the old one. You can then create a new password.
Go to the email provider's website. For example, if your email address is registered with Yahoo!, go to Yahoo.com and if your email address is registered with Hotmail, go to Hotmail.com.
Find the sign-in section on the main page of the website.
You will see one box for your email ID and one for your email password.

Click the link that says, "Forgot your password?" if you're trying to recover a password belonging to a Hotmail email account.
Click the link that says, "Can't Access Your Account?" if you want to recover a password belonging to a Yahoo! or Gmail email account.
Check the circle indicating that you need to recover your password.
A page under the heading, "Reset your password," will appear.
You'll be asked to enter your email address.
Enter the characters in the picture box to confirm that your request is authentic. Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Google employ this security feature to stop automated programs from illegally accessing email accounts.
Click "Continue."
Confirm your cell phone number or alternate email address, which the email provider will use to send a confirmation code.
Do not exit from this page.
You will need it later.
Go back to the page where you confirmed your cell phone number.
Enter the confirmation code that you received.

It is not uncommon for users to forget their user names and passwords, especially when trying to access an email account not often used.
Email providers like Yahoo! and Google are aware that users forget and have implemented a way to identify the user in this situation. In order to use this retrieval method, you must have submitted an alternate email address when you signed up for that email.

Go to the email sign-in page.
Notice the option underneath the login fields for users that have trouble signing in; in Yahoo! Mail this option is "I forgot my Yahoo! ID" and in Google Gmail this option is "Can't Access Your Account."
Click this option.
Enter the alternate email address entered when you set up up your email address.
Yahoo! Mail users also need to enter the birth date, country and postal code entered when the email address was set up. Click "Next."


Log in to your alternative email address and click the email provided.
Your email user name is available in the body of the email.
Click the link within that email to reset your email password.
To reset your email password, the provider might require that you answer your security question.

Go back to the email sign-in page and log in using your user name and new password.

Email Will Receive but Will Not Send b> According to the Radicati Group, a technology market research company, over 107 trillion emails were sent in 2010 -- that's roughly 294 billion emails a day. Moreover, the company estimates that there will be 3.8 billion email accounts by 2014. With so much activity, some users are sure to run into trouble when trying to send a message. If you are receiving emails but can't send them, it may be due to a number of issues, most of which you can quickly fix on your own.
SMTP Authentication b> Many email clients and providers require that your outgoing email messages are authenticated by an SMTP server prior to being sent. This authentication process adds an additional level of security and helps prevent junk mail from being sent out. If you have SMTP authentication disabled, however, your email will not be authenticated and will not be sent, even though you may still receive emails. To fix this issue, enable SMTP authentication by placing a checkmark next to the option in your email client or provider's Settings menu. b> Port 25 Blocking Port 25 is the port that is used to send email. Whenever you attempt to send an email, the email is routed through port 25 and the data is transmitted to remote email servers. If this port is blocked, you will be able to receive email but you will not be able to send it. Some Internet service providers block this port on their servers, so if you suspect that you are unable to send email because of port 25 blocking, contact your ISP and request that the port be unblocked. No Default Email Account b> If you do not have a default email account set up on your email client, and you haven't selected a specific account when composing the message, the client will not be able to deliver your email. A sent email must always be tied to an email account to protect other email users. To remedy this issue, specify a default account in the email client's Account Settings menu, or specify which account you want to send the email from when composing the message. b> Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam Scanner b> If you have an anti-virus or anti-spam scanner installed on your computer or as a plugin for your email client, it may be preventing your emails from being sent. This happens when the scanner times out while scanning an email for viruses or spam content, or when it detects what it believes to be a virus or spam while scanning the message. To remedy this issue, disable the anti-spam or anti-virus program, then send the message as normal.

Outlook 2007 incoming emails keep coming from the server multiple times


If your getting duplicate emails from the same server, either #1 you've configured multiple email accounts for the same email address or #2 see below.
You will find these setting under TOOLS/ OPTIONS/ MAIL SETUP/ Click Email Accounts, under the Email tab, click "change". This will list all accounts. delete any duplicates for the same email address.
#2 If there are no duplicates in Outlook its possible you've told your email server to forward your email to you.
What Outlook does is retrieve this mail from the server, so doing both would result in duplicates as well

I use Outlook Express for Emailing, i would like to change my present email address please can you help me to do this? Regards Clive.


Outlook Express is just a software which can send and recieve emails from any email account configured on it(Outlook Express). regardless of yahoo, gmail, comcast.net ,aol.com etc.

So if you want to change your email address and want to use it on outlook express, you need to first create an email account by going to the website on which you want to create an email address.

Once you have created the email address we can look for the POP/SMTP server settings of that particular email account on the internet .
Once we have those(POP/SMTP) addresses we can configure Outlook Express to send and recieve emails for your new email account.
