Blue vertical line - Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP

My webcam was working fine until I switched my operating system to Vista. I don't know if it has something to do with that inspite of upgrading the webcam's software from XP to Vista. It started acting up like it will work and the next minute it won't so I have to plug and unplug. Now, there is a blue vertical line on the right side of the screen when I view myself on the monitor, even my chatmates can see it. What is that? Please help

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Problem on Web Cam - Does not work after downloading update

First off thanks for choosing fixya.com

You can download the drivers from the manufacturers website. Here is the best link I could find with the information your provided.

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SCANNER-Digital-CAMERA-WEBCAM/LOGITECH/Logitech-QuickCam-Orbit-MP.shtml

If you know the exact model such as MP or AF you can search with your favorite search engine for "Quick Cam Orbit drivers" as well

Hope this helps you out in some way.
