Nintendo ds cannot recognise the memory card

Hi,
Yesterday, when turning on my nintendo, I was prompted to change the settings on the ds, eg colour, time, date, etc... After doing so, I have not been able to have access to the memory card. The card cannot be recognise anymore and I was not able to have access to all the games.

Thanks to advise.

Sounds like it reset itself which means you have to start over again on your games. Sorry.

First before you can use the memory card on your DS lite you have to first use the DS lite to format the memory card before putting games this ensures that the game would recognise whatever games you then put on the memory card.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

How to save music in NDS lite???

remove yor memory card from the ds and put it into your computer. open the folder on the memory card for music and drag and drop your music onto the memory card. just know that before you drop your music into your ds that you have to convert it from mp3 format to AAC format using itunes or else they won't play on your ds..

When turning nintendo ds lite on it comes up with this message System date error! Please check NDS system date.

it is just an eol (End Of Live) in the software of your ds card.
Plug out your ds and remove your r4 card.
Plug on your ds and change the date to 2009.
Plug out your ds and insert your r4 cart.
Plug on your ds and you can play again.
Now there wil be new software on the internet who is an update on the old software, so if you want to renew your software ist there on the net.

Try blowing into the reader to clean of any dust. If problem still persists you will have to take it to be repaired by Nintendo engineers (as your DS-Lite reader may be damaged).

NDS not recognising R4 but will still play DS game cartridges.

Is your DS a DS Lite? If it is, open up your R4. Fold up a piece of paper and put it right behind the gold contacts (on the side facing away from the DS). Close it all up and it should work.
