My ipod got WET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try this. Go to a Craft store (Michaels, Crafts Etc. and by some flower drying crystals. (Brand name Silica Gel probably less than $5.00) Drop your iPod in the crystals and leave it overnight. The silica gel should be in a air tight container (Zip loc bar or cookie tin). This is the same stuff that you find packed in electronic and can sometime help recover damp electronics. (As long as you haven't actually shorted it out)

Ipod nano went thru washer, now won't work

I did the exact same thing to my iPod nano 3rd gen. I discovered it by the noise it made in the dryer when it fell out of the pocket. Clack! Clack! It seemed dead, but it made a full recovery. What I did was put it on the dashboard of my car for a couple of sunny days to dry out, recharged it, and it was fine. If you have particularly hard water, maybe you'd want to try dipping it in some distilled water just to get rid of any mineral residue before drying it out. I'm impressed with how tough these dudes are. Good luck.

Ipod 1st generation prob

I'm pretty shure, the hold switch is broken, and it is stuck in hold mode. Only replacement will work. (But, also, check if the plastic button doesn't fit with the switch, an then, is not switched by the plastic button)
