Question about Pioneer DEH-P3100 CD Player
I have been searching online for an answer, with no luck...
I recently bought a car with a Pioneer DEH-P3100 CD Player. I bought the cable to attach my iPod through the CD changer, but it seems to play at one (quiet) volume. The CD player has no control of the volume, and the volume control on my iPod does little to affect it (the loudest it goes would be enough for someone with supersonic hearing). Is there any way to fix this on this model of CD player? I tossed all of my CDs 6 months ago, because my iPod is my lifeforce. Am I forced to either revert or buy a new CD player?
There is a plug on the back called an IP-BUS. You should be able to hook the ipod directly up to that with a simple homemade adapter. I built one for mine and it works fine.
