1995 jeep grand cheroke larado 4x4 v8 got no fire or fuel changed coil cap rotor plugs wires coil pickup crank sensor

Thanks for choosing Fixya and welcome to the site. As far as fuel, it is either the fuel pump, filter, fuel lines, or the injectors. Check your fuel pump fuse, relay, and reset, if equipped. You should hear the fuel pump kick on when you first turn the key. Make sure the fuel filter is not clogged and check the fuel lines for damage. Lastly, check the fuel injectors for fuel. As for the fire, have you checked the cam sensor? Some computers cut off fuel and fire, for example, if the fuel pump was down. If that is not the case, you probably have an electrical issue. It may be your computer. Check your timing belt/chain as well. It may be out of time and the computer may not be reading it. If it is electrical, you will need it put on a machine. If you can't, you will need to check all wires and current in the ignition system to see what is not getting power. If you have any questions, just let me know. Thanks for using Fixya.

Where Is the fuel filter on my 93 jeep Cherokee

your primary is in the tank connected to the fuel pump(but usually doesnt need change unless something goes wrong and u need to change your pump.)your 2ndary filter is on the frame rail on the drivers side, just above the rear tire. Two hose clamps and a 11mm bolt on the fuel filter strap.Remember to relieve the fuel pressure from the tank and test port on the fuel rail that connects the the injectors.

1996 Jeep Grand Cheroke Laredo...Ran tank low on fuel. Then after filling up would not start, while at the pump. So changed fuel filter...no start. Then changed fuel pump. Now does start and run yea! ...

Likely you did a bad thing to the tank float when working on it If so, it will need to be taken down (again) and checked. First though check that the gauge is getting power at the attachment harness (pump and power side should have a voltage pulse and good tank grounding.)

I Have A 2000 Grand Cheroke The Car Will Not Start Will Turn Over OK I Changed The Coil Pack With No Results

First off insure that you are getting spark to the plugs. If no spark after changing the coil check the cam plate in the distributor and check the crank sensor mounted on the top of the tranny bellhousing next to the engine. If you have spark check and make sure you are getting fuel to the engine. Find the serator valve on the fuel rail push in the little valve and see if fuel is coming out. If no fuel at the rail check and see if it is coming out of the filter. If no fuel at the filter the pump is not working check the fuses and make sure you are getting power back to the pump if you are getting power the pump is probably bad.

How to replace thermosta in my 93 Jeep grand Cheroke? (grah helps)

First and foremost, make sure the engine is cool, and has not been run for a few hours...Do this in an area where you can wipe up any spilled antfreeze, because you are going to lose some while doing this...O.k. start by finding the radiator hose coming from the top of the radiator, follow it to the water neck, that is the part covering the tstat. There will probably be two bolts holding the neck on, remove these bolts. Now you may have to tap the neck with a small hammer, wrench, screwdriver handle etc. After getting this loose you should have access to the tstat, make sure your new tstat came with a new gasket, or oring whichever the case may be.now its just a matter of removing the old tstat, and oring or gasket, make sure both surfaces are clean, if not scrape off the old gasket material, dirt, grease, etc with a razorblade, or scraper...now just reinstall new tstat the same way old one came out, with gasket or oring...reinstall bolts and tighten down...add antifreeze as needed, and you should be good to go.One thing to keep in mind, as you are disassembling old parts, make note as to how they fit in place, the tstat needs to go in a certain way, if installed upside down it will not function properly...

please rate my response...Thank you.
