Unplug the TV for 2 minutes, plug back in - you should see the "STAND-BY" in red letters on the on button. On the remote, press
Mute-1-8-2-Power, and you should get the service menu.

No picture new lamp, high pitch squeele sound

It sounds like the color wheel is beginning to fail and needs to be replaced. I would recommend calling Samsung at 1-800-samsung to find the nearest authorized service center. Trying this repair on your own can be tricky so you should let an pro take care of this one. Color wheels are around $130.-$150.00. plus labor.

No picture after replacing color wheel

every time I see this itbis a cable or plug that was left out or one that got pulled on and pulled the connector up out of the plug a little, you need, and not by sight by your hands to go over every plug and connector till you find one.

In some cases, after installing a new color wheel, the speed of the wheel motor must be adjusted to obtain proper speed to ensure a satisfactory image. Unfortunately, you can not and should not attempt to do this adjustment yourself as the service menu contains many adjustments which if accidentily mis-adjusted may cause irrepairable harm to your TV. Ask a local samsung servicer to do an "index delay" adjustment in the service menu.
