I bought a 1.0GB Scan disk and don't know how to format it...can you help?

Your data is already gone. The drive is raw. No partition no format.

Disks come in different formats . Double density. Single density Double sided singles sided. You must purchase the disk that your machine calls for.

If you have antivirus installed and antivirus can detect the virus, just simply right click 'scan for viruses'. then delete if prompted. Right click option may vary depending on the antivirus.
Otherwise if you don't have antivirus installed you can format your flash disk. but this will also deleting all files on your flash disk. Make backup copy of your files before formatting.

Do you have a micro scan disk inserted? The scanner will not work without one. Insert the disk in the slot next to the Format button. Turn the unit on then press the format button to format the disk. To scan a document, you press the scan buttton once, then release the button. Slowly move the wand over the document to be scanned. When you have finished scanning, press the scan button once again.

Put in your recovery disk and restart the computer a clean install of windows will format the hard drive automatically! If you don''t have the recovery disk you'll need a windows disk to do the same.
Do you have it set to FAT32 or NTFS? If it's FAT32 you can pop in a windows 98 rescue disk and restart the computer with CD support type in A: and enter then you type in like this A:\ format C: /s
and it will prompt you to carry on by selecting Y for yes hit enter and start formatting.
You then have to remove the floppy put in your windows disk or rescue disk(which has windows XP on it) and restart and select install at the following prompts etc
You can reboot to Safe mode alternatively(restart and hit F8 when POST messages are displayed) and scroll up to safe mode and enter. If you have an anti virus software program installed you can run a scan and remove any possible viruses that way or if you know what the virus is use the search function and find and delete the infected files!

yes format it go into main menu settinsg of camera formatt that extrnal card u added meens erase it all prep it up for that camera so do that so u can use it ok thx nick

I bought scan disk mp3 but once i have connected it with my laptop to add new songs , i dont know what happen now it is blank all data is lost i can now only listen radio through it songs are not adding into it. as all dta is lost or formated.

The only way is to upgrade the sw!

Formatting the hard drive will clear any data stored on it. This should be a last resort and we'd suggest trying to scan the hard drive first. This will attempt to fix any hard drive disk errors. If your N91 does not have the scan option (some don’t) then connect to your PC in mass storage mode, right click on the F: drive, then hit scan.

Hey buddy FORMAT DISC means PAL games or NTSC games format.

There are 2 formats dics in this world for the PS1,PS2,PSP,Wii,Gamecube.etc

They are [NTSC] and [PAL]

[NTSC] is for North America and Japan ONLY. [NTSC] is Original games.

[PAL] is for Asia Only. Which is copied games form the Originals.

I need to know were did you bought PS2 Console from ?

If you bought it in North America or Japan then you have to buy and play Original games from North America Only.

If you bought your PS2 in Asia then you can play copied games.

It is most likely your PS2 is a NTSC, your PS2 cant read any PAL games so it will say format dics.
