Paper-feeding mechanism broken

There is no paper jam, there are no obstructions, and it still won't print.  The paper is fed in a little bit but then it stops and the error message reads "No paper in tray."  I literally am about to destroy this thing.  Please help!

Paper jam error appears - tells me to clear jam and click OK - there is no jam - even with no paper or 1 sheet, it whirrs a bit and then gives the same paper jam error.  What gives?  Just bought new cartridges online one second before I tried to print the order form and the printer went ERROR Nuts!  What now?

I've had mine for about six months and haven't even changed the ink, yet and it says I'm out of paper. It draws from one side, then stops and says no paper. Very frustrating. Expensive printer to last only six months!

I am getting a message that The paper is jammed but it is not, at first the paper would go in crooked, and it would jam, then put it through again and it would do the same thing again. Eventually I would get some Clear the paper and press OK. I do that and it doesn't help. Somebody suggested I unplug the printer from power, Unplug the USB printer, Restart the computer, Plug in and turned on the printer, Plug in the USB printer cable. I thought that might reset it but it didn't help. This printer worked great one day and the next this started, PLEASE HELP

Lexmark s605 paper jamming

Sounds like an obstruction on the right hand side of the feed mechanism. All-in-ones are a pig to find these - I've had one HP almost completely stripped before I found a chad of plastic stuck in a corner. Nine times out of ten it's a torn corner of the first bit of paper to get chewed jammed in the feed slot.

Printer is telling me paper is jammed but there is no paper jammed

This seems to be fault in the transport of the paper in the rollers. So if you have used any adhesive sticker printing, it is possible that some glue has got clogged into the rollers. If not there can be some jammed paper in the rollers or the mechanism.
So start this work only if you are mechanically able with the right tools.
Remove the covers to get access to the mechanism . Remove the motor drive assembly , the fitting of the motor to the mechanism. Once this is removed the rollers can be turned manually so that you will be able to feed a paper to see the progress of the movement while studying if there is any obstruction or damage to the paper.
There is a in-detect sensor, usually an opto-coupler , make sure this is not clogged or dirty as this IR detection feeds the signal to the processor for starting the motor drive feed.
Reassemble but make sure the rollers are aligned to be in equal gap to feed the paper without a side pull. Now you must print and see if the fault has changed. If not repeat the above work to confirm the area of obstruction.

Hi there I have a canon Pixma MX360. The printer got a paper jam and I have removed all the paper that was jammed in the printer, however when I press OK to confirm the paper has been removed the settings...

You must check carefully to make sure all paper is removed, even little pieces that may have been torn. Use a flashlight and check very carefully in the paper path, also look down the paper chute, and where the paper exits.

Paper i feeding wrong, it starts then backs up a

Generally whenever paper goes "crooked" it's because something is partially obstructing the paper path.
It could be a small piece of plastic, or paper from a previous jam that tore off and stuck.
I would suggest looking at the paper path (use a flashlight) to see if there are any obstructions and then carefully remove any found.
I've also seen where the side plastic has become broken, or has a sharp edge sticking out that will cause the paper to misalign.
Hope this helps!

Paper jam

Well, if you could put that disengaged gear back all by yourself, then put a little "grease" or "oil" on the right side of the paper tray are mechanical levers or gears especially the one pushing the paper forward... when you're done.. printing goes fine again...
