The speaker may be blown , but the output should be checked for sound , if no sound output then it would mean the amp quit

Reduce the amount of boost or, better yet, turn off the bass boost. With your installation, overemphasis on the bass is causing the rattles and distortion

It makes a rattling sound when i turn it on

It could be the box. Boxes wear out over time and get loose. If not then its the voice coil. Theyre not blown all the way but youve done damage and burned some voice coil. I have 2 of them with bad voice coils that do that rattling. But they still hit super hard. To find out take the sub out the box and turn it up. If no noise then its the box.

My kicker 12 inch solo-baric L7 rattles real bad like something is loose but there is nothing visibly loose what could it be ?

Its blown. Maybe not completely but youve done some damage. If your sure its not hitting the box anywhere and its tight, then thats what it is. Youve burnt the voice coils a little. They regulate how far the sub goes in and out. I have two kicker L7 12s that have bad voice coils. And thats what they do. Theyre in my trunk though so its not to noticeable and they still hit super hard. -->

Also it could be the seal for the box. They wear out and boxes get leaks or weak causing flexibility in the material so when subs hit it vibrates the box really bad. Try removing she speaker from the box then turn it up and see if it makes the noise. If not then its probably the box. Let me know.

Every time my sub hits it makes a buzzing

There may be any of several problems.

If you send high pitch signals to a speaker designed for lows, it can cause waves to propagate outward causing a buzzing. Look up the specs on the speaker and verify that your crossover cuts off well below the high end frequency for this speaker.

Another problem can be due to the mounting which can resonate. This should be mounted on at least plywood that is 1/2 inch or more thick. It needs to be wood as plastic or metal will rattle and buzz.

Another problem can be the wiring near this can rattle and buzz.

Check out these possibilities.

Bass sounds muggy it rattles alot when volume is turned up. It just started to happen. What is happening? The bass from the head unit is at -8 while the subwoofer level is a +15.

Have you had it checked out, if it rattles when bass hits hard, it could be busted, have you had it up extremely loud before? If so, that is probably what done it, otherwise, I would call whoever you bought it from, and ask them if they know anyone who has had similar problems to yours.

Our Beko Fridge Freezer has started to make a rattling noise. When it is turned off it stops and starts again once turned on again. Any thing we can do to fix it?

When it is off, gently shake the frig to see if the rattle is something in the frig hitting togrther. If that is not it it could be the compressor hitting the case inside due to a broken spring on the motor. The only repair for this is replace the compressor. In which case you let it run like that till it quits completely. That can be a very long time. Eric

Lg 1030hr excessive ping noise

COULD BE ALOT OF THINGS BUT MY FIRST GUESS IS THE FAN SCREWS THAT HOLD THE FAN MOTOR COULD BE LOOSE CAUSING IT TO RATTLE ON START UP OR SHUT DOWN BUT REALLY NOT MAKING TO MUCH NOISE AS THE UNIT IS RUNNING. CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE NOISE BETTER? IS IT SCRAPPING LIKE A SCRUB OR KNOCKING LIKE HIT HIT HIT HIT?
