Honestly the best place to sell those would be E-bay.

Error u26 phaser 7300

U26 is Yellow Image Unit failure. It may be that the contacts are dirty - spilled toner?? Give it all a thorough clean, especially where the electrical contacts are - if still no luck, then a new yellow IU should solve the issue.

Reset imaging unit xerox 7300

You can reset the imaging unit in two ways - either with a fuse, which will return the count to 100%, or in the hidden menu, which will not get you all the way to 100%. You'll find all the details about how to do it, and a lot more information about this printer here.

Xerox Phaser 7300 color misregistration

Apparently, turning the unit off for 30 seconds, then back on will force the Phaser 7300 to do a color alignment procedure (according to Xerox support).

Then, if the problem persists, you are instructed to follow a very detailed troubleshooting procedure which I will leave with you in the following link:

Xerox Phaser 7300 Misregistration Issues

I hope this helps!

I have a Xerox 7300 that I started using Media Sciences toner in. I have had to replace 3 imaging units recently because they have locked up. Now 2 are locked up again. Media Sciences says they have not...

Hi.

Xerox says instead that the user should never used non original or refurbished cartridges, as in a number of cases this had been proven capable of damaging parts like the imaging unit.

I am sorry for Media Science, but they do not even have permission given by Xerox to build compatible cartridges (Xerox Corporation Filed a Patent Violation Lawsuit Against Media ).

Cartridges that have not built and tested with full printer manufacturer cooperation cannot be free of problems.

Also, I know that the 7300 is probably out of warranty, but using this cartridges on a new printer may invalidate the warranty.
Media Science does not make itself responsible in case one of their cartridge has damaged a printer.

My suggestion is to use original cartridges in future.

Best regards.

Ginko.

Phaser 7300 dn prints full yellow color background on every page even if the background copy shows no color.

Most likely the yellow drum unit is causing that problem. The charge roller gets worn and makes whatever color it is in print out all the time. That would require replacing the yellow imaging unit.

Xerox Imaging Drum reset ? for Xerox Phaser 2135

The only way to reset the image unit drum is installing a new one. The new image unit has a fuse which once blown it resets the counter on the machine. You can call www.iteminconline.com I have their information in my ad place. They are good techs. I once called for a 7300 image unit reset and they said it was almost the same as a 2135 and they gave me this information. well goodluck.

Xerox phaser 7300 toner cartridge problems

Hi,
Sometimes on this machine as there is a lot of loose toner around it can cover over the sensors in the machine, what I would advise is to remove all the toner cartridges and check for the copper contacts on both the machine and under the imagining unit (which the toner is placed in). Once you have cleaned that away slowly close the lid and reboot the machine and it should return to normal. Its just toner getting caught up in the sensors. Follow the instructions below, when you remove the unit, lift it over your head to find the copper contacts and clean them, be careful not to spill toner everywhere. Good luck!

Reseating the imaging unit
    Remove the toner cartridge:
  1. Open the top cover.

caution_image88x30.gif The imaging units are sensitive to light. Do not expose the imaging units to light any longer than necessary to remove it and cover it. Failure to follow these instructions may damage the imaging units.
  2. Identify the color of the toner cartridge to be replaced (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow or Black).

  3. Move the orange lever on the toner cartridge to the right so that it unlocks.

  4. Lift on the back side of the toner cartridge first, then guide the cartridge out of the printer.

  5. Set the toner cartridge on paper to avoid any toner spilling.

    Reseat the imaging unit:
  6. Lift the imaging unit straight up out of the printer.

  7. Line up the guide pins with the printer's frame and lower the imaging unit back into the printer.

    Reinstall the toner cartridge:
  8. Install the toner cartridge by guiding the front onto the new imaging unit first then lowering the back.

  9. Move the orange lever on the toner cartridge to the left so it locks.
