Hello everyone, I have this old router I bought a couple of years ago and its the Motorola 498498-001-00 (not wireless) now, i wasnt using this one because it would always give me trouble. I live with my brother, we are always playing games or downloading all kinds of stuff. When he opens too many things, the internet shuts down and comes back up.

My Linksys router died so i plugged this one, its a lil bit old, Internet works fine, but it comes and goes when there are too many things going on at once.

I hope this is enough info to help me and thanks.

its a motorola BR700, they dont sell it anymore... I guess its new router time, thanks for the help,

Upgrade the firmware of the router if possible. Get the firmware from the support website of the router manufacturer
