You will have to get a firmware update. I have fixed alot of these issues. You can try to do it online through htc.com or take it to a local repair shop. If no one can assist you you can try 303.482.1288 wireless image. Make sure you dont have water damage on the phone by checking the water mark on the back of the phone there is a white sticker indicator if it is red then it has water damage. hope this helps
dear sir this is the problem usually caused by viruswhich happens when you are receiving files from p.c or untrusted mobiles...... and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest motorola service centre,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed.... thank you.....take care................
You may need to do a soft reset on your phone. I f you don#'t mind losing your data,just remove the battery,reinsert it, charge it till the red light turns green then restart it.it will boot from default.If you have any memory card inside it, remove it before starting this process.Follow the instructions and you should be ready to go.

Hey, when you say red screen does this mean it says compaq on it? If it does then you need to do as follows:
Press the two lower buttons (one is defult set to Calendar shortcut, the other to iTask) and the power button simultaneously while soft reseting the ipaq. It should start up. If not contact me, as I might of got the buttons wrong, at firstname.lastname@example.org I hope it helps
