Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Hi, I installed nero but after I burned the update to dvd it still wont update my 360 I dont know what I'm doing wrong.
your probably not doing anything Wrong.
did you boot the console then eject the draw, and put the update disk In ?
it should read the disk, then tell you it,s an update, and ask you if you want to update the console.
Make sure your hard-drives connected.
The only other thing i can suggest, is to make sure your 360 reads the disks or media your using.
if you try burning a music cd, and see if the 360 recognises it, you,ll know the media or Blank CD/DVD is good for the 360 to read. another method is to add a dummy file of about 80-100mb.
this ensures the 360 sees the disk.
try different media/disks and different methods.
if it still does,nt work for you. mail me your e-mail address and i,ll forward you 1 already made.

the update will only allow you to play backwards compatable original xbox games.
you must have a hard-drive fitted also, as this is the hardware that the update disk updates.
To burn succesfully in Nero:- you need a blank CD Or DVD.
open nero and select create Data CD/DVD. then when prompted to add files, add default xex.
then select next, then burn. always burn at 4X speed or lower if possible.
ensure along the way, that the boxes are de-selected to add more files later. as this will not close or end the session. therefore the toc-table-of-contents will not be written to the disk.
i,d suggest using a re-writable CD/DVD as you can have numerous attempts, at getting a sucessful burn.
If you still have any problems, please forward me your e-mail address, and i,ll post you the disk free-of-charge. p&p is chargable.
Many thanks for your request.
