Cold solder in the tuner is the most likely cause. If the cable connection is not directly connected to the tuner (goes through an input board) then it's probably bad connections on that board.
Certainly seems to be a problem internal to the TV. If you don't have soldering skills you probably won't be able to fix yourself.

Just check this TV by connecting it to on-air programs. Connect external antenna to it, and make an auto tune function. Refer to its user manual for details. If TV do not tune in to on-air channels too, the tuner to your Tv should be checked and replaced. If it receives on-air channels, and only cable channels are missing, you must contact the service provider to your cable connection.

One channel fuzzy

Tis is an ongoing problem I seen increase alot over the past few months. From what I can gather, all the channels being broadcast over going from the analog to digital, there's no big suprise to anyone. However, the change from analog to digital is changing at a faster rate, so when you look at the TV some channels will be fine and others will have grey lines, fuzzy picture. The only solution-you need a TV with some kind of digital tuner. On the TV itself if the (TV has one) it will say "SD" or "ED" which stands for standard digital or enhanced digital.

You might want to try a new cable, otherwise it might be a loose jack that if your daring enough, you could fix yourself

Fuzzy and ghost picture

Sounds like Either the cable from the wall to the TV is bad usually this will cause ALL channels to be fuzzy.Or your cable on the outside of the house is damaged.another common problem is the outlet on the wall has a bad connection. If they get painted over with wall paint this will also cause the problem.change the wallplate. If its damaged outside the cable company will usually fix it for FREE.you pay for the service and it their responsibility to make sure you wiring outside the house is working properly.

RCA 25GT511 - fuzzy picture slight static sound; wiggle coax rear mount temp resolve

There might be a bad (loose) connection in the RF isolator or the tuner (both are silver boxes. Try to unplug the coax and bend the RCA tabs in so that the connection gets firmly made when reconnected. This may help. If it does not The connector may have to be replaced.

Same channel on all channels

Yeppers it certanly sounds like the tuner control curcuit or the tuner itself is bad. With the back off the set and the tV on, if you tap on the side of the tuner does the set start to work? if so the tuner has to be replaced
