Ur tv have a colors wheel design in it.Tv have buzzing, squiling or loud motor noises.Have colors turn in Black&White or flashes white within pictures. All these causes and problems are the effect of the colors wheel is dying and require repacement of the colors wheel, because it is woring out and not spinning correctly on it motor axis anymore.Have no machanical experience taking things aparts and putting it back together again.Don't atempt to change the colors wheel by ur self, bacuse the colors wheel sit way back on the tv,must take out many machanicals parts before u can even come to it to change it.Hire a Tv Tech. to change the colors wheel ok best solutions and no complication taking out the old one and putting in the new colors wheel, for it to functions correctly.

Turn on TV hear a buzzing and then the TV cycles off and on again

Hi,If it seems you are experimenting a color wheel problem. The color wheel is a rotating disc that has a gamma of colors it spins at high rpms. The light of the lamp goes through it to create the colors on your tv.When it starts to go bad you will get color distortion ,black and white picture and sometimes you will hear humming noises.I found it with complete light engine assembly here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/TOSHIBA-2973026206-p/1160068.htm?Click=48173

Humming Noise at the back of my Toshiba 62 dlp lamp is working but no picture

You probably should have the TV looked at by a technician. if your lamp is lighting up then most likely the noise is the color wheel itself.

Monitor Buzz on start -up

Try a different monitor or this monitor on a different computer. If it makes same noise on different machine or new monitor makes no noise on your machine you need a new one.

My tv has a lot of red color in the picture

Tt might be the problem with he color circuit board, bring it to the repair shop for repair, or if you can do it do re-soldering to any visual crack at the soldered lead terminal of the components on the circuit board and then try put on to check if the problem goes away?

Does the picture gets distorted in any way when you hear the buzzing noise?
I would suggest to check all the cooling fans for proper operation.

Toshiba 56HM195 56 in HD DLP Loud Buzzing and color distortion

If the sound, sounds more like a Hum with some vibration chances are the Cooling fan located behind the lamp is going bad, about $20 to repair, if its a high pitch hum most likely the Color Wheel and if thats the case about $30.
Good luck, my fan just went bad now seeing green dots everywhere, so debating on just junking it out or fixing it, with winter coming on might just breakdown and buy LCD and say the heck with DLP from now on.
Good luck to you..

Distortion/noise and buzz in front left speaker

Try to see if the reciever will make the buzzing/noise without anything connected to it except power, and speakers. Tune into a local radio station and see if the noise continues. If the noise has stopped, then you know there is an issue with the player or cable.
