Question about HP DeskJet 3745 Printer
When I try to install this printer, I get a message that there is an installation already in progress, but I'm not installing anything else and I can't find the problem...help, please!!
Are you plugging it in before the software prompts you to plug it into the computer? If so it could be auto detecting and installing, so there is another installation in progress. I would unplug the printer from the computer and restart the pc. See if the software will install, when prompted by the installer plug it in.
In most cases when you go to install a printer your not supposed to plug it into the computer until about 3/4 of the way through the install process.
