My epson 9800 stylus pro will not cut. the paper keep running

You have left it on sheet feed what you need to do is press the button on the top which is furthest to your left until it shows the paper until the led panel shows a pic of a roll of paper with scissors

Page 327 on that manual will contain information on how to troubleshoot service errors. On page 115, it talks about adjusting parameters for better print quality.

Hope you may use the manual to troubleshoot your printing errors on your own.

Problem Printing Sheet Paper with the Epson 9800


On the machines control panel set to sheet fed (pressing the left button will change from Sheet, roll and roll with cut). In the print settings select your paper profile. On the page setup choose sheet. In the pull down menu you should only have basic paper sizes, no custom size. choose 20x30 and try again.
