Hp psc 1210v all in one

Sometimes a printer will go to work offline and not realize its still offline when you turn printer back on.
If you can see a printer icon in your tray (bottom right) then double click it and you see a windows similar to the one screen shot below and click on "printer" menu and uncheck "use printer offline".
If that still doesn't work then delete the job in the queue and try to print again.

No matter if you are not able to find actual printer icon for 1210v. You can install Deskjet 990c driver which works with all hp printers

Here are the steps.

1- On computer click Start >>>> Control panel >>>> printer (printers and faxes)

2- click "add a printer"

3- click next on add printer wizard

4- select "local printer" (uncheck automatically detect my printer ) click next

5- select Usb virtual printer port and click next

6- select manufacturer as HP and printer as Deskjet 990c and click next

7- Make printer name hp 1210v click next

8- Use as default click next

9- Do not share click next

10- select "yes" to test page and click finish

Your printer is ready to use

Have you set up the printer to be shared via the network? You can usually set this up in printer options, through control panel. If the wifi is a closed network, so much the better. That way, nobody else can use the printer. You should be able to do this easily, as long as both computers are connected to the wireless network.

The printer driver may have become corrupted. Try uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling with either the cd that came with the printer or the latest driver download from the manufacturers website. Hope this helps.

I would recommend downloading the top download, HP Officejet and PSC Full Feature Software and Driver
This should provide you with the full printer software and scanning/copying software for your all-in-one printer.

go toand open printer settings click the printer icon in that menu it should say use printer online highlight and click.

i do not have installment disc.

To make the printer status online.
Click on start and then go to control panel and then go to printer and faxes or printers and then when you see the icon for the printer right click on the printer icon and select use printer online
